We have been given a wonderful and weighty responsibility of raising our children in a Godly way in a world that is not. The  We Choose Virtues Parenting Cards NIrV are simple ways to begin leading your young child in a Godly manner. We Choose Virtues has several other products to help you raise your children in a Godly way. We got to review their Parenting Cards.The Parenting Cards are size 8.5′ x 5.5′  13 cards to use. I read the card aloud first thing in the morning with our Bible time. Often using the scripture as copywriting work for the older children. Then I put it on the fridge where we all could see it throughout the day. Trying to complete one of the card challenges along the way.

The back of each Parenting Cards has directions for you. There is little preparation time needed. You can read the card the night before and gather together what is needed or be acquainted with the scripture being used. Items like a family board game are about as extensive as you need. The only draw back we experienced were the challenges. I felt the age level, ability level of the child these Parenting Cards were intended for did not match the challenges. Sadly this led to frustration and in some cases challenge failures within minutes. After dealing with that problem a couple of times I adjusted the challenges to a set time period and set a timer.

A foundation of success even when it is only 15 minutes meant tomorrow was more likely to be 30 minutes of success. Progress!

The Parenting Cards were a simple straight forwards way to introduce virtues. A visual reminder to stay focused throughout the day when trying to complete a challenge, such as do everything asked of you with a smile. This is a very good product if you have a child that is very young or has limited understanding. I would recommend this flashcard set to help you lead your child in a Godly manner.
