Happy November my friends! How great it is to be up and blogging again. You might have noticed that there has been a face lift and then silence… The blog got a makeover. And I got very sick.
I took time off to heal from the initial blood infection and long hospitalization. Then I got hit again as a rebound from the first illness. Coming out of that I was exhausted and it was time to start our homeschooling year.
Hubby and I talked and I deliberately stepped back from the blog. I wanted to focus on getting the kids off to a great start and to heal up.
Hubby and I even went to a great conference homeschooling mom bloggers/media. 2:1 Conference I came home with tons of ideas and refreshed.
I REALLY recommend the 2:! conference. I learned so much. I love the feel of the group of high energy, intelligent attendees. I have gone several times and I plan on going again next year 🙂
Here is the mission statement in case you would like to go… tickets are on sale already!
Our mission is to give you the tools and community you need to succeed in blogging, business and homeschool…with a heaping helping of God’s word.
A hint of what is to come…
More posts! From DITL posts to how to deal with learning disabilities and so much more
Reviews from a special needs perspective how things really work with a kid that sees floating letters..
Giveaways! Every single week from now through Christmas!
Recipes, Organization, NaNoWriMo posts and I hope tons more.
If you want something new right this minute did you know I have a podcast?! I started it in the summer and it too had to take a break but it’s up and running as well.
I will be trying some new things like video. I am having to find a new balance between the work I do in the special needs homeschooling arena and my family and my decreasing health.
I hope you are all having a great homeschooling year so far!
OH and SURPRISE I went GREEN for Mitochondrial Disease Awareness!
