Copying the Hymns Christian Devotional Copywork
All Things Bright and Beautiful ZB 1-A
I got this e-book through Currclick, (for free to review). First the check out on Currclick and download was very easy and quick.
The Bogart Family has priced their copywork very affordable this e-book costs less than 5$! There was even a song link to go with this copywork book.
My precious little Kindergartner was my partner in this. Rose is learning to write. To use this, I downloaded the e-book. I then read through the brief introduction. There was a chart of letters in the form I chose, possible to print off if I needed to. The lessons are clearly defined and about two pages of print-off.
I printed off the two pages for the first lesson. Rose was excited to do the work. There was not an overwhelming amount to do and it comes with simple black and white art she could color when she was done. It was a painless copywork lesson.
I was thinking no further than another tool to teach and pratice writing with my children. Then I read the final pages to this e-book.
Perhaps most notable however are God’s own words of instruction found in
Deuteronomy 17:18. His instruction to the Kings of Israel to write out a
copy of the Law to keep by them at all times is a profound and unmistakable
example of copying the Word of God in order to meditate upon it and drive
it deeply into our souls.
The Bogarts give an excellent reason to use copywork in your everyday homeschooling. They even included ways to engage other learning modes asisting in better learning. Thank you Bogarts I have chosen to change my homeschooling to now include copywork.
Disclaimer: I received this e-book for free to give my honest opinion on it.
