We recently got to review Full Online Family Subscription to Learning Palettes (LearningPalette.com). The maker Learning Wrap-ups has physical products and an online program. We were able to work with the online version.
The online version allows up to 5 members of the family to have an account. Very nice for me since I have 5 kids. When I first signed up it did take a fair amount of time to get everyone’s account. Like always with this many kids in the house write down the usernames and passwords. I didn’t <silly me> and couldn’t find that simple ‘Did you forget your password?’ button. I had to ask for help.
Is this a curriculum? No and it was not meant to be. A 4th grade teacher realizing she needed more methods to help her students learn multiplication and memorize it came up with the physical products. From there the product blossomed and is there to enhance that which you have already taught your child.
I had 3 little ones spend a good deal of time on it (6yr dd, 9yr dd, and 11yr dd). My 2 oldest were just too far above the K-5th age range to sit and work with it. (I tried and got the teenager eye roll). I had my kids try both the reading wraps and the math wraps.

There were a few things my daughters pointed out that repeatedly bothered them. I do want to preface this with my daughters have autism and are sensory defensive visually. They really like neat clean screens to look at and complete. The art work for LearningPalette.com had moments when it was a bit too artistic. Such as I started my youngest on a super simple screen of color matching to show her how this worked. The colors were buckets of paint that you had to match via round colored round disks or colored doughnut shaped discs. All these colors and variations were borderline too much for my daughters but the thing that pushed it a bit too far were the paint buckets had drips and slops of paint. As you can see completely understandable but for a child with autism and visual sensory issues it was like fingernails down a chalkboard. We kept going trying other screens and some were much more successful than others.
I could see easily how LearningPalette.com can assist and reinforce learning that you are working on. It also pointed out areas that my child and I needed to work with some more. There is an instant feedback that your child can ask for showing them whether or not they have gotten their work right before finishing the page. The perk is it helps your child adjust instantly. The downside might be if a child uses that to ‘fix’ the problems rather than learn it. Keep focused that this is a practice and memory reinforcing tool.
There was a downside to the LearningPalette.com online program that had nothing to do with the learning program. I had several snafus on the tech side of things. Simple things like no ‘did you forget your password’ button. A bit clunky getting around on the page. The screen/disc size were a problem to size up or down without losing necessary parts of the page. The biggest issue I had was getting all the kids accounts and then keeping them separate. I have high hopes these are just temporary issues.
I like the attempt at online kinetic learning! The fast feedback nature of the whole idea of Learning Wrap Ups. I think my family would tend towards the physical products in the future.
