Here are the recipes! Whole chicken 4 different ways!
Classic Roasted Chicken
5 pound Roaster Chicken
2-4 Tablespoons oil
2 Tablespoon Salt
1/2 Pepper
1 Onion
3-4 Carrots
5-6 Potatoes
Drizzle oil on the chicken. Take the salt and pepper and rub into the skin, sprinkling some into the cavity. Place in roaster. Now chop onions, carrots, and potatoes and surround the chicken.
Roast at 350 degrees for a 1 1/2 hours or until internal temp is 165 degrees. If you notice the chicken or veggies are dry pour in 1/2 to 1 cup of water or chicken broth. A little goes a long way to keeping a moist yummy chicken!

1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Onion Powder

1 yellow onion chopped
Mix the spice blend together. Drizzle oil on chicken skin. Then rub spice blend on chicken. Fill cavitity with garlic and onion.
Set your crock pot to low for 8 hours or high for 5 hours. Juices should run clear from thigh joint when done.

Sticky Chicken
5 pound Roasting Chicken
2-4 Tbsp Oil (to drizzle on skin)
4 tsp Salt
2 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
1 tsp Onion Powder
1 tsp Thyme
1 tsp Pepper
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1 cup chopped onion
You can roast or cook in a crock pot. Roast for 375 degrees for a 1 hour until internal temp is 165 degrees. Or crockpot cook at low for 8 hours or 4-5 on high until the juices run clear from thigh joint.
**the roasting can also be done at 250 low and slow over 5 hours in an oven for a crispy skin. BUT I need to tell you that the USDA does not condone that cooking method because they feel it does not get hot enough during cooking.**
