Dear friends like I said last week we are in flux. The obvious changes of my health and now it appears that at least 2 children are sliding health wise as well. We will be traveling back and forth to our specialist’s hospital (2 hour drive one way) several times between now and the end of the year.
We are trying to stand on our own two feet and start a family business. We will be selling items for special needs families and have a way to support our family when Chris has to come home and take over. The business is not up and running yet.
My Congressman McKinley is helping me with the VA. Yes, that will get a couple of votes from this house. We have been treated respectfully and with speed even in the middle of his race for office. Thank you sir! Once I am getting my full disability pay and compensation that will also help us but again we don’t have it. I was denied through what appears to be a paperwork snafu. We are appealing.
Here is the Donate Button: (click on it and you will be taken to Paypal to donate in a secure manner.)
There have been several people that have asked to donate money to us. I don’t have the energy or the time to make a Go-Fund-Me account. We do have many needs that outside our ability to get right now.
We are trying very hard to steward what finances and gifts we have such as… We saved up money for a small remodeling project of the dining room. New paint and new flooring. Over the summer we bought these items on sale, so in all of Chris’ copious (haha) spare time he has been remodeling the dinging room to make it more friendly for wheelchairs and take out the old carpet to reduce allergens for asthma hubby and kids. What we weren’t expecting was the oven to die.
I tend to bake or roast lots of our meals because I can’t stand at the stove top for long. We also use crockpots. We are using a countertop oven as best we can to make up the difference for now.
We are also needing to go back to Kirkman’s vitamins for the kids. They have shown on lab testing that the vitamins I was getting at the drugstore were not getting into their system they were passing through.
I have created a donate button. If the Lord moves you tell help us I greatly appreciate it. There are other that have asked how to help in a more directed manner. We shop at Sam’s, CVS, Giant Eagle, and Kroger generally.
We are happy to sing for our bread and butter… that is speak for it. Chris and I are speaking to groups around the Eastern US and will Skype with groups as well. Don’t forget to ask your convention coordinator’s to pick us up as the special needs tract speakers or featured speakers at your local convention now. The contracts are being signed and should mostly be done by the holidays.
Any comments are concerns please contact me at SpecialNeedsHomeschooling@yahoo.com
God bless my friends!
