Are you ready for a SUPER SIMPLE way to fill your sensory bins?
1 cup of light colored beans
15 drops of coloring
Stir the beans until they are completely covered! Let the beans dry overnight in a single layer. Done!!
**We tried this recipe several times in several ways. First they only way we could successfully color the beans was by using the drop liquid coloring. I tried in using a bag and having my helpers chip in to color the beans, but using a bag tended to leave several beans half colored or not colored. Using small groups of beans and stirring well in bowl worked great for us.
Small Navy beans worked the best. Larger beans and beans with wrinkles were less successful.
Corn came out more multicolored and did not color uniformly.
