First my article When Your Brain is Hard of Hearing is in the current The Homeschool Magazine ! I share part of my story of finding out that my son has a Auditory Processing Disorder and what to do about it. I hope you enjoy!
There are a couple on ONLINE conventions coming up that look very interesting. In August is the Heart of the Matter conference, August 9-13. I will be serving as the hostess for Joyce Burges, as well as hosting the fun and casual chat immediately following Joyce’s session on Friday. Here is a ticket giveaway!
The Old Schoolhouse is once again hosting an EXPO! This time it will be in October 4-8. More details to come as we get closer.
One last online option you have this summer is Homeschoolblogger.com is hosting a series of FREE workshops with pre-show speakers. I was a pre-show speaker recently for one and will speak again in the future. I’ll let you know as soon as I do what I will be speaking on and when! That one is totally free so it’s a great workshop to send friends to that are thinking about homeschooling!
