I have needed speech therapy for 3 of my children. When I heard there was a homeschooling option you bet I was excited. I was also hesitant can you really provide at home what a child that needs speech therapy requires? In reading the the introduction Ms. Lott set my mind at ease. She is focusing on articulation errors and fixing them.
Ms. Lott gives you a chart of what your child should be able to articulate and when. Very helpful! Then she goes on to show you how to test for the precise error. I find the testing to be an absolute gold mine of information. Consider this, you are listening to your child speak and you know there is a problem but where. Ms. Lott gives you a user friends test to find the precise issues. Super Star Speech takes you through creating a therapy plan just for your child! Lost of games to play to enhance your therapy.
Taking the time to work on your child’s speech as they begin having problems is worth it’s weight in gold! Frustration levels decrease as a child is better able to communicate. Your child can then focus on other areas of learning.
I liked Super Star Speech. It is a simple and highly affordable speech therapy for homeschoolers.
NOTE: While reviewing this I poked around Super Star Speech’s page and Ms. Lott has a blog with free ideas about helping your child’s speech!

Thank you for sharing about this. I am always looking for ideas. Our youngest son has sever speech issues due to cleft lip/palate. When we adopted him, he had hearing issues as well which have now been resolved. He is 4 1/2 and finally speaking! We have a LONG way to go, but thankful for every step he makes.
