Is your child with autism or sensory integration disorder having problems with spring? Our kids have a really tough time with the changing seasons. You may be thinking wow we have made a lot of progress and then blah! The progress seems gone. Take heart my friend once the seasons have settled your child will [...]

Are autism issues or sensory problems ruining your child’s spring?
Great site and a freebie!
Here is a site called Econobusters. They are a group of ladies dedicated to passing on the best in coupons, discounts and general good ideas to save money. They even have a gluten free Friday! (I have Celiac disease. So this thrills me to no end!)
I hope you enjoy!
God bless

Gardening with your children
Gardening can be a wonderful opportunity with your children. There are so many opportunities to learn in gardening you will have to pick and chose what to do. You can talk about seeds and how they grow. Were plants are on the food chain. Use digging and planting a garden for a physical education slot. [...]
Birth to 18 Good or bad for homeschoolers?
The US Government has an overdeveloped sense of themselves. Puffed up pride as my grandmother would have said. I’m not even talking about the current economic troubles. I am talking about the governments interest in extending schooling to every child from birth through the age 18. What does this mean for those of us with [...]
Integrative Biomedical Treatment Options

The speakers were Dr Scott Faber and Dr Kenneth Bock. Dr Faber spoke about the extremely high level of toxins in the Western PA, eastern Ohio and north central WV areas. These are some [...]

There are alot of articles and other things going on at HOTM. There is an online conference coming up that I [...]
Food allergies and learning
I was never one to really consider food allergies. After all no one in my family had severe reactions to peanuts or shellfish. That was about as far as my knowledge of food allergies went. Then in my early adulthood I realized that green peppers hurt to eat. Not only that but the more I [...]
Homeschooling and Early Intervention
Early Intervention is called different names through out the states. I am talking about the therapy programs set up for children below school age. What does that have to do with homeschooling?
When my children aged out of the early intervention program the local school system was notified that my child had a special need. In [...]
Prayer for a new week
I pray Lord that each and everyone of us has a healthy week. Lord we bring our needs to you and pray for answers and strength. Be with us as we homeschool our children and guide them to a better understanding of your Word. Amen
May your week be blessed with peace and an abundance of [...]
Why is this strange woman talking?
You may ask “Why is this strange woman talking? Why should I stop and listen?” I am not a PhD nor do I have an education degree. Sorry I was too busy raising my family. I do have years of hands on experience and years of research that I have done.
I am not trying to [...]
